3 Puppies Rescued from the Streets

Organized by KCPP Volunteers

We Need Your Help!!

A kind-hearted dog-lover in Topeka, KS, came across these adorable puppies running in the middle of a busy street on Jan. 31, 2012. He removed them from the street and tracked down their owners who said that recently the momma dog had turned on the pups and was attacking them. She didn't know what to do with them, and she said the shelter wouldn't take them unless animal control (AC) found them in the street.

The kind-hearted man told the owner he knows several wonderful folks in dog rescue who might be willing to help. There are 3 puppies, 1 boy (Black brindle) and 2 girls (One black with white chest, white paws, and one a lighter black brindle color).

They are very skinny & dehydrated and appear to have worms. They have not been socialized at all and thus are scared of people. One of them appears to have a hip out of socket or perhaps a broken leg or hip that has begun to heal wrong. We desperately need to get them to the vet for medical care, but we have no funds. We also want to raise an additional $80 to get the Momma dog spayed.
